4th June 2017 – Peter Kay – A Special Q&A
Following two sold out shows last December, one of Britain’s best loved comedians Peter Kay has announced another very special live Q&A at Blackpool Opera House this June in aid of the Polly Haydock Appeal and her continuing Cancer Treatment Fund.
Mum of three Polly Haydock from Westhoughton, Bolton was diagnosed with cancer at the end of 2015 and, after receiving heart breaking news that her cancer had reached Stage 4 last July, Polly set about the daunting task of raising over four hundred thousand pounds to receive expert treatment in Germany. The treatment, which is unavailable in the UK, could not only prolong her life but may also help cure the disease. Polly and her family, including her three children, have been raising money for the specialist treatment via Go Fund Me and the response has been overwhelming.
One of the nation’s most loved entertainers is back by popular demand continuing to tour with her best show to date. A must see event of 2017.As part of the tour Jane is making a welcome return to the Blackpool Opera House on the 10th June 2017.

Friday 30th June to Sun 2nd July – Europe’s Tribute to Elvis
Elvis Fans across the globe get ready for an amazing festival honouring the life, music and fans of Elvis Presley.
On 30th June – 2nd July, 2017, the fifth annual Europe’s Tribute to Elvis festival will be held in Blackpool, Lancashire, England, at the world-famous Winter Gardens. This will be an event unlike any experienced before. The festival will feature many great Elvis-themed shows.
Friday’s “Long Live the King” is an incredible show to celebrate Elvis the man & his music. Saturday’s”Ultimate Elvis Trilogy” is a spectacular celebration of the 40th anniversary. Sunday’s “Spirit of the King,” is a wonderful showcase of Elvis’ gospel music. Elvis hits from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s will be performed by three of the world’s best Elvis Tribute Artists: We have winners of the Elvis Presley Enterprises “Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest”. Cody Ray Slaughter, star of “Million Dollar Quartet” on Broadway, is the 2011 World Champion and the youngest man to hold the title. Dean Z 2013 Ultimate Elvis world champion. Thursday 6th August to Sunday 9th August – Punk Rebellion!
Rebellion Festivals is the largest INDEPENDENT Punk / Alternative music festival in the world.
Over 4 days every August in Blackpool, the very best in Punk gather for the social event of the year. Many treat it as a main holiday and come every year so there is a very familiar feel to the weekend and it’s like one big family – all 4000 of us!
All forms of punk are represented with Anarcho bands playing alongside ’77 Punks groups on the same bill as Oi bands sharing the same stage as UK82 style bands who are appearing with Street Punk outfits next to the new breed of young punk bands coming through etc etc…..!
We also have an acoustic stage and an alternative stage BIZARRE BAZAAR which has comedy, burlesque dancing and a variety of other entertainment……..Oh yeah, and there is PUNK ROCK BINGO!
Are you ready to Rock? For one night only Coast Town Events and Arran Paul proudly present a tribute to the best in rock music with three quality bands on Saturday 8th of July at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens with the Rock of Ages event including an after show party featuring a specialist Rock DJ until 2 am.

Winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best New Musical the hilarious Spamalot was written by Python legend Eric Idle, with a fantastic score co-written by John DuPrez including Always Bright Side of Life.
